jus came back from work. wasn't as bad as i thought. heee... today super tired. cos went for the bbq at costa sands still in the end. well reached there quite late abt 8pm cos i got lost in neptune court trying to find the underpass to cross over. in the end the path to the underpass is BETWEEN neptune court and mandarin gardens.. arrgghh..

anyway glad tat i went cos i missed the last crew outing and haven't been too close to the "new" crew who came in in dec last year. hai... always get this feeling tat i'm different from them everytime. and sometimes they do make the distinction though not often. think they can't understand why an undergrad like me will work at macs. hai... but well i still try my best to talk to them. environment is complicated some smokes, some come from broken families and have big problems of their own. they really open up my view of Singapore and our youths. but they are also very nice ppl. jus lucky tat i always meet this kinda ppl. wat i can give is mainly academic advice and encouragement. i dun usually hang out with them much after work. after reaching the chalet went for a ride with shao yu and zhi qi (2 crews who joined us in dec last year). brought them to bedok jetty, national sailing club there. tat bedok jetty when we were chatting, zhi qi commented tat my EQ very high. haha.. so happy wat a nice compliment. =) then went with joseph, raymond and shuang2 (all fellow managers) to get beer, drinks and tidbits. nice and comfy feeling... to hang out with them still.

talked to shuang2(also part-time manager but she works in HSBC full-time) a bit. haven seen her since last month and haven talked to her (as in heart to heart) for quite long. told me she has a new bf. so happy for her..cos we always tease her abt her being an old woman (27 yr old this yr). it was her who intro me to the crystal jade mango pudding with milk one. after tat we cooked carlsberg prawns after returning to the chalet. hahaha they are jus prawns cooked with beer. hahaha but it's damn nice u guys must try next time but dun set the whole pit ablaze. put aluminum foil.

they were all quite dead cos they din sleep last night so no gambling when i was there so sad cannot earn my cab fare home. heee... love gambling with my mac ppl. shuang2 and i always the "zhuang" dealer for black jack where our fav phrase is "wo men she men dou mei you chu le qian" which means we have nothing but money. haha..yaya rit? but the last time we lose until wanna take off pants already. but damn fun. athough i cannot say the same when we start to play drinking games. usually i hang ard the toilet after tat. always lose and always puke until like dunnoe wat. so not so happening this time but managed to talk to some of them.

thought of why i'm still in the mac system after 3 years. numerous times when i wanted to quit. braved through family, frens' objections to hold this job already so think i'm hanging on becos of the people. well the learning curve for me not tat high now. though learnt quite a bit from the different bosses i worked under. my fav is still Simon (now still restaurant manager(RM) but at Great World City, overseeing a McCafe there too, Outstanding RM of the yr). he's demanding yet i still wanna do my best for him. he's the kinda of boss tat u will be willing to die for. he's tat inspirational. love the way he interacts with customers. guess he's still my model manager after so long. learnt a lot from him. second was Alison, she's very motherly but guess she always gives us space and have faith in us to complete our job. then came Kris. She's also very on-the-ball, and gave me flexibility os schedule so tat i can go climb mountain as and when i like. love her man although my colleagues always KB her always do things the hard way, but tat's wat i admire abt her. once she says it, she will make sure it is done in her way. then now we have albert. dun have much contact with him cos he's jus supposed to oversee us. tat makes joseph, my 1st assistant manager play a bigger role in running. think tat joseph has changed through all the promotion. hai.. can't relate as much to him as b4. dun thnk i can learn much from him sad to say.

my fav person to work is stil raymond, cos only he will tell me whether my work performance is good and also we cheong fries together. and it is also him who understands me best man. tried to tutor him for english cos he retook his english o levels at the mature age of 25. haha..ok we shouldn't laugh at him ok? he's brave in tat sense. in the end wasted my effort and assessment books, he got an E8 again. oops.

well think today's entry long again. sorry to the ppl who say my blog long and smelly... talk abt my crew more next time...haha..esp hua wei (19, male, cute and thoughtful) so stay tuned...
