race race race is coming...
die lah.. my memory is failing me
these days... have to refer to my planner then i'll know where i've
been for the past few days... hai.. getting old. and this reminds me
think i'm gonna have a pretty bad quarter life crisis this birthday
again. jus got this feeling.. hahaha tat is if i escape alive from the
sabos of my dear sophy and gang.
Tuesday
Date with my dear sophy...
we met at my place. then we walked down to UOB Plaza to settle ODAC
financial stuff then had lunch at Golden Shoe. we had my fav ipoh hor
fun there. we headed to find a post office to mail some stuff to my
mum's fren in japan, some of our photos, a souvenir bag i bought for
her in China and essence of chicken. hee.. my mama's idea. then we
walked to the CPF board so to settle some Singpass thingy for sophy.
then we headed towards our fav cinema to watch SuperSize Me. For those
who dunnoe, this movie is abt this guy's 1 month binge on Mac food. yes
3 meals.. my goodness. u look at the way he eats sometimes i really
wonder if fat can really kill ppl. anyway the movie is trying to prove
tat it can. i personally feel more attached to this movie partly becos
i belong to the golden arches too and it's really out of curiosity to
see wat's the big deal abt this movie. it was really funny. i love the
presentation, comic style, billboard style etc. i would recommend all
to watch it. anyway at the end of the day, for ppl who are suing
mcdonalds for their obesity. it is really up to the own individual's
responisbility to take care of themselves. can we sue hagen daz next
time if we happen to eat their ice cream everyday. think abt it.. i
think mac is really a scapegoat out of this. but it's really good tat
this movie brought up obesity as a very real problem in US.
after movie, pei-ed sophy walk walk to find a white long sleeved shirt
for her convocation the next day. we couldn't find one suitable one so
i left when her aunt came and meet her. Met my mama and 4th aunt for
dinner. drove to zion road again to have our fav prawn mee. 4th aunt
going for operation next day so insisted on driving her home. nice
driving in the wet weather with my nora jones..
Wednesday
Sophy's convoc.. such a big occasion with her whole family down other
than cheryl, her cousin. vin, zhuzhu, fang ting, david and i met
sophy.. she insist she look like a chinese vampire with her robes so
much longer than other ppl's, but still she looks good. i rem her
saying after 15 years of schooling a paper cert is wat we get. so
true.. sounds so sad too. but well i'm sure the paper comes with lotsa
lessons of life, experiences and along the way of cos frens.
