excited, stressed, relaxed, busy, wat a combination!

1st week of school. obviously excited. think i already raved to many of my friends abt this hot german guy in my tues morning 9am marketing class. well think i found the motivation to be on time and attend this class. impressive man tat guy. think he's called mike if i din rem wrongly. other than looking gorgeous, he also had the substance. for the first class, think my class was warming up quite fast. taking this module alone, so i was glad when i saw some familiar faces such as J whom i know in the biz club ER comm. sounds really exciting the course product and brand management. well more of new product management like how to launch new products and stuff. think the brand part which is wat i'm more interested in will onli take up a small part of the course. think the very nice part abt the sectional on tues was the wat's new? part which was asked by the lecturer Prof Tan where we talked abt new products on the market. cos there were a few exchange students including mike of cos, interesting to hear wat they had to say abt new products in their countries or even products they find "new" in Singapore. other than mike, there is this other french guy who looks pretty boyish too. hahaha.. lotsa eye candy.. so happy. class ended early so went to canteen. so happy met zhaoyong, liying and co at the round tables. hee... quite a while since i last saw them, nice to catch up and ask which mods they taking and stuff. seems like zy and i onli ones there with single major and graduating next sem. the others are crazy lah majoring in finance with log or marketing. i begin to think who is normal actually. zy and i or the rest. think i'm such a unambitous student. heee... and i'm proud of it actually. student life is simple. why make it complicated?

anyway the history of japan class after tat was a total bore. ok the lecturer was my making of the modern world (MMW) tutor Dr Greg Clancey. the module sounds interesting with the shoguns and the samurai but sorry fell asleep when it was going into the second hour. jus tat maybe Dr Clancey needs to be more animated like the Italian or the chubby chubby ang mo lecturers in the MMW in order to keep us awake. good news is it has webcast lctures. and amazingly when i saw the readings tat carol passed me on wed, they dun look like a mountain.

i think i'm more of an arts student this sem man. takign 3 arts mods and onli 2 biz mods. another SS mod singapre society i taking this sem. sociology mod. quite interesting and set me thinking abt our singaporean culture, politics and our whole society in general. but pretty chim considering it's a level 1 mod. hahaha but think i can score lah. think i'll take a pass/fail option for my history of japan. hee.. slack a bit. haven used any of tat option and better dun waste it.

the japanese marketing mod ok lah... the lecturer is really enthusiastic. german guy (another one?!!) who has a degree in Biz. interesting. and various aspects of the japanese culture. but i guess he's pretty luo suo aka naggy. but well we'll see.. dun like him asking lotsa questions and making us work in groups in lectures. simply waste of time. if he wans it this way might as well do it the biz sch way of havign 3 hour sectionals.

promotional management. the most exciting module of all. heee. was late for the class cos i was preparing the welcome tea food with sophy at my place. learnt a lesson man next time jus pay somebody to do it but was pretty fun lah. anyway ya back to the mod.. so fun.. ok 70% of grade based on project. we'll be doing smth like a print ad at the end of it for M1... i'm walking on sunshine... hee.. and the top 6 teams will get cash prizes. and each team will have 500 bucks to spend for paper work. printing, getting a graphic designer etc.. heee. or i was thinkign it can go into our own pockets.. but well so exciting rit? but hai.. think it wil be really really hard work. but i'm all for it. got all my project mates tat session already. luckily we managed to avoid the hhrmm.. notorious for projects ppl. hee.. zy with me again. hahahah we are like permanent projects mates. he's too efficient for me actually. hee.. he's damn good at reports. hahah but well we all benefit at the end of the day. jus hope he dun xian qi me can already.

swam with cang and had lunch at genki sushi with cang and siwei. well we had a feast lah. actually genki is not bad. quite refreshing some of the dishes. like the cabbage substituting the seaweed to wrap the sushi. very nice. and the mango puddign was really nice. though crystal jade's still tops. the last time i ate genki was at the airport and when mama was feeling rich hee.. not too bad. in the end wasn't very ex lah each of us paid abt $15. nice feeling to be hanging with them again. like we never ever left each other's company. i mus say NS really left kinda a strain or rather seems like a break. like sometimes i can really feel the distance between the girls and the guys. jus glad tat we are like u know back together.. heee... anyway yes think we mus really find time for our long-awaited zoo/night safari outing. hee. had fun the other time with qingyi insulting the monkeys and us throwing our left-over sandwich at the pigs at the "farm". and also fed the smelly goats.. heee.. and also the breathtaking butterflies in the fragile forest enclosure.. well actually adults can also have fun at the zoo. think it's really the company. =)

welcome tea pretty hectic think we weren't really prepared or rather me lah.. think the food hee.. ill-prepared. cang said it was crap food.. u know like bu san bu si. but well i like the food whether others like it or not. talked to quite a few scholars i think. they were concerned abt ECA points and stuff. hai.. sad but i dun like scholars. jus to earn a few pts join smth. hai.. maybe i'm jus biased or there are really really little scholars who are u know.. hrmm.. committed and stuff to smth totally over wat the pts are worth. glad to see david and zhi long. seriously surprised to see zhi long. tat nua boy.. come down.. kinda a miracle but well thanx still. hopefully more ppl run for 20th comm.. like crossing my fingers kind. happy to see yew tian running.. heee... yeah...a guaranteed good fish? hahaha.. like fish who swims into the net kind.. well though the welcome tea kinda draggy mostly due to the videos and technical faults, i still consider a successful one cos no. 1 ppl are running for 20th comm. decent number. membership looks good. good job carol jus tat maybe programme can be shuffled a bit. but well still not too bad.

thinking abt 20th comm... president... presidential speech at AGM. hai think i'm going to be a dictator man. lapping a lot of work on this year's comm. maybe i shld buy a whip or cane soon. hahaha.. lotsa things gonna happen. so excited but think once again hard work man. i hope 20th com will be one to work hard and play hard with. zy and rob were saying tat day whether the odac presidency will change my capacity as a project mate. hai.. well not tat they dun have grounds in saying tat but well i'll still try my best to be the best project mate and president man. lotsa frens running for 20th comm and i'm grateful for it though them running becos i'm going to be pressie isn't supposed to be the right reason loh. personally they shld feel tat they wanna do more for odac. call me an idealist.. =Þ a lot of ideas wat to do for next comm swimming ard mus sit down one day with vin to bring them all into print.

saw juncong today. i put saw cos i think he gots frens walking in front of me even though he was facing me, so i'm not sure whether he saw me. but well i waved.. actually carol's fren gabriel's side profile reminds me of juncong too. anyway din get to talk to him until yesterday night on ICQ. he's in TH now. well i would expect tat since he stays at tampines. tat day when i'm changing my necklace, was jus thinking whether i'll see him in school. haven seen him for a year and half? he's still the same i guess. think we never talk on icq until yesterday like school has created more common topics to talk abt. talked like old frens. which is good cos i rem on his bday i din wan to wish him happy birthday cos i felt hypocritical cos i was onli reminded when i saw the icq reminder. it was in my schedule book jus tat it slipped my mind. mean rit me? hai.. i'm such a bad fren... anyway well think i'll see more of him since TH is so nearby... and i'm half an arts student this sem. no major feeling when i saw him but still a little of awkwardness.. dun noe why. well dun think i shld think very much abt it..
