Olympics
jus read yee-ky's blog and i know i mus blog now and now...
hee. have been busy helping mama in the shop cos seventh month is here and she hasn't even sort out the orders for the month. papa working til like 2am already. oh man can't imagine wat time they will return for the month to come. today's jus the 1st. helped mama the whole of sat then half of sun. hee.. think i'm mama's most valuable employee man. hee.. driver, chapalang worker, no wages jus food. hahaha... jus glad tat chun will help when requested. at least she dun entirely reject the family biz. anyway ya would have loved to stay home and watch every single one of the swims, dives, gym etc...
well hee.. i think it was sat night.. finished mama's work at abt 11.30pm then came back and do my own stuff cos dennis wanted the HnT report. after i finished the report and settled my stuff then cherling told me there's diving on central then well it was abt 3am already and i haven bathed.. oops.. hee anyway so after bathing, quickly tuned in. oh my goodness.. the chinese pair was fantastic. it was synchornised diving where 2 ppl dive together. it was the male 10m dive. my goodness... the chinese were so in sync... every movement, every angle and the final moment, the entry into the water. i think everybody knows the chinese really deserve to win. the kinda control, grace and teamwork... anyway i think they shld get 2 ppl of the same height. funny to see one tall one short jump together like the greek pair and they will supposedly enter the water together according to Galileo. after tat diving event, switched to gymnastics. guy one too.. not too bad but i was KO-ing already so well zzz at abt 4.30am...
yesterday night after singing with Chee kong and ting ting (great session) and settling my stuff again, watched swimming... wah.. ok it's my first time seeing thorpie.. yee-ky's thorpedo. my thorpie. he was magnificent at Sydney. i stayed glued to the TV although it was exams time.. jus can't get enough of him. well my other eye candy was this russian swimmer who was damn good too but i forgot his name alex smth. he's kinda old cos he's seen action in 3 olympics already. think he's retiring. or retired. never see him this time. anyway back to thorpie, hai.. it was the 100m X 4 relay freestyle which was dominated by the US since the beginning of time. they hold both the world record and the olympic record but think the aussie team was in very very good condition. think phelps swam the last lap for US. and thorpie of cos swam last for aussie. Aussie was leading all the way until the 3rd swimmer where the US almost caught up. then thorpie plunged.... he was very very close to phelps but kinda losing by a bit.. dunnoe whether he was holding back a little for tat surge til the end. until he turned and pushed off from the wall. then.. on par with phelps.. then slightly ahead.. my goodness.. he always swims with tat kinda grace and yes like wat yee-ky says.. effortless. then he touched the wall.. breaking the world record and breaking the american dominance. well i think he knows all the attention was on him but well he still hugged on to the aussie team and smiled his winning, heart-melting smile... think i saw him in the same event last olympics. he swam last too but think they din manage to win. think he did his best but from i rem. the american's lead a bit biggie when he took over. well happy for him. waiting for later's 200m freestyle showdown between phelps and thorpie. have no doubts tat thorpie will rise to the challenge. thorpie seems more mature than 4 years ago. his confidence has become a comfortable presence. haven seen him won any individual events yet though i think he won one on sat/sun. so dunnoe abt the emotionless wins yee-ky was mentioning abt. so well let me go bathe and read some readings b4 i see thorpie later. and of cos mus do homework... heee mike will be there tmr.. i hope.. heee.. mike is the german guy. =)
