the village
watched the village with sophy, vin, ting and bear bear. it's very good. ok i confess i screamed once. think it's m. night shyamalan's best so far. really outdid himself man. our little heads were so engrossed in discussion at rochor tau huay after tat. discussing the twists and examining the loopholes. and also catching up. the tau huay was good as usual and the chin chow too. well all good things had to coem to an end, so went home relunctantly. anyway sophy, vin and i joining this swensen's ice cream competition on sunday. stuffing ourselves silly with 39 scoops of ice cream. hee.. but well supporters are welcome 2.30pm at junction8.
went to sentosa b4 tat with TU. met loom and mart at outram park. they also going sentosa with their dive club frens. wat a coincidence. anyway think bb still quite awkward with loom but i dun think i can make the situation any better. jus hope time will help everyone be comfortable with each other again soon. anyway we had brunch at harbour front mac. then shopped for picnic stuff to eat at the cold storage. set off for the sun, sand and the sea after tat. found a good spot around the same place we went the other time. olive took out her spiderman beach mat from KFC. very nice then squeeze our 4 butts in. tanned for a while but ended up taking out the grape tomatoes, pears, sea weed, jellies and chips. ate non-stop til we went bathe man. meanwhile played a bit of volleyball. we a bit sian diao when these 2 guys came univited into our game with mart, loom and her 2 dive club frens. so went to have a dip in the sea. damn dirty man with all the rubbish, seaweed (inedible). but well still swam to the orange divider and back. took lotsa photos.. hahaha with our usual poses.. i think mart (the camera man)was thinking why he din died laughing man. we tried lotsa stunts man.. jumping until everybody was captured in the air. doing ballet in the water etc. we are jus so photo crazy man. but so fun. went to bathe at abt 3pm plus cos thought it was quite hot already and we were beginning t crave for something cold like hanging out at a coffee joint. bathed and headed for the hawker centre to eat char kway teow. seriously we never stopped eating a second man. hahaha.. think it's a long time since the TU came out like this already. well with BB going off soon, plans were made to cheong and hang more b4 she goes. hai.. sometimes it's really when we are abt to lose smth then we realise the importance of them. well TU onli had an outing last sem. but this hols think we really made the effort.
had to go as promised mama will be back bt 5pm to go to my god grandma's wake. in the end, din manage go becos choon was still at her academic briefing at SMU. so joined sophy and gang for the movie.
the previous night, had steamboat buffet with ah li. make up for not going to his bday on the last day of race 2. well he was good company as usual. haven been spending much time with him this hols and last sem. as always he struck me as being very practical, very pragmatic. think he's really seasoned for the working world already. perhaps his father trained his tat way cos he's going to succeed his father's biz anyway after he finished his 3 year bond here. always learn stuff from him. esp abt bonds, ways of making money etc. stuffed ourselved with seafood, mussels, lalas, prawns, seafood tofu etc. the dessert was good. chocolate mousse and the watermelon all very nice. almost couldn't walk when we left tat place. he showed me the addidas jacket tat i also paid part of it for. not bad. mart has good taste man. shopped a bit at carrefour. hahaha.. a bit weird to be shopping with a guy friend in a hyper mart lugging a hifi set along. hahaha he bought it earlier with huiping at sim lim and had no choice but to lug it along. i mus say his company always reminds me of GG. well i'm not subsituting ah li for GG. dun worry.. but i guess the reason we grew closer was becos of GG loh. rem the time when we bought GG and 2 of us squash rackets b4 he left for michigan. tat seems so long ago. hopefully GG will come back soon. but well ah li is still scheduled for lunch when sch reopens. with loomie and of cos with our weekly dosage of mango sago at biz ad canteen. hahaha.. all these lunches are making me look forward to sch reopening man.
have a very good timetable. so far mon and fri are free. lessons start late for wed and thurs. hahaha. i must say this is the best timetable i ever got in NUS but well haven added tutorials for the 3 other mods. as usual, when projects start free days are considered void man. but well b4 projects become rigorous maybe i can organise weekend trips.. yeah.. but well whether there are ppl who can go with me is another thing.
asked alvin to be my VP already. made up my mind to run for president of ODAC. true lah partly becos of obligations and now i guess i think i wanna do something more plus it's the 20th exco. how many comm can u serve when it's in their 20th anniversary. hope we can get together a reunion dinner of all 20 comms of ODAC. back to alvin, well i know. there are bound to be fireworks as he said if we work together. conflict tat is. but well can't think of any other more suitable candidate cos i believe he has the passion and drive for ODAC. hopefully together we can lead the 20th exco to be a true family of our own and also manage our activities sui sui-ly. hai.. sadly my head hunter list of the ppl i wan in the 20th comm quite disappointing. think i lost cherling already. hai.. tat girl can sell her life to u when u have events but i guess a long term commitment will be different but anyhow i'll try again. sheryl i hope she can stay. meiyu i think she will stay. carol fickle-minded as usual wun be running, but we'll see lah huh. we wun know wat will make her change her mind again. shu hong expressed interest. surprisingly. i hope he can stay too. one more person on the comm tat always disturb me will be quite fun.. haha. and i'm not addicted to his calling me ba jie always. but he's nice to have around. fang ting. hrmm.. i dunnoe. dunnoe whether it's good for alvin and her if alvin is the VP and she run again. wun force her but i would love to have her of cos. wee wee another uncertainty. hope wee wee can take up a more leadership role.. any he chooses man. but i dunnoe how he will feel from VP to org sec maybe. but well anyhow love to see him in action. when he's serious, he can be quite shuai man. ok let's cross fingers and hope all these ppl can stay by my side on the 20th comm. =)
thanx for all the concern guys. my tap of the nose have stopped running. luckily but now my cough has caught up with me. dun worry i'll still be in tip top condition for the ice cream competition on sunday. =)
anyway way past my bedtime already so let me zzz....
