birdies...

wah.. din realise i haven been blogging for a week. my goodness wat have i been doing..
hee.. anyway supposed to be doing a summary for my promo report for the designer. hee.. okok will wake up early to do it.

tuesday.
jap history lecture today. managed to keep awake cos it was my fav topic. WAR!! yeah.. WWII. hai.. well i always love war stories. how they advance. how did the battle go etc? japan complicated man. well like dr clancey said. it's a war where civilians are not spared for the first time. atrocities on both sides of war. reminded of nanjing massacre again. hai.. the sad place i visited in nanjing. anyway atomic bomb did they really have to use it? the US obviously dun feel the guilt. hai.. should the present jap govt bear responsibility for their previous govt's war atrocities. hai.. the emperor.. a damn damn shrewd man. the puppet master who in the end became a puppet himself. Macarther also a very clever man. haha build japan to rise from the war as the most prosperous Asian country. amazing how fast the jap recover. haha.. really really love history.. lalala..

captain ball session with odac. hee.. pressie cell won with foreign import wee wee and chee kong. mus say tat every match was quite a close one lah.. yew tian so chao pia, fuxiang damn "pushy" until julia fell haha.. oopps.. ta han took off his shirt *wolf whistle pls. terence my goodness he's damn agile and "long". yucheng haha reliable yeah. meiyu shocked look when got the ball so cute. haha.. wee wee best defender as yet. haha.. too many ppl can't name one by one but anyway was really fun cos we won. haha opps. anyway took 33 home with chee kong. been a while since we done tat. haha.. as usual i came away with the envy of how free his life is and how everything is working out for him. although his project is ending, i have no doubts he'll find smth he can work on again. haha.. oops i think we were both very seh. he nearly missed his stop haha..

wednesday.
met up with promo group. went through our survey. haha a bit late huh. but well think product report going well lah. met cherling at 12pm. haha.. really love meeting up with this girl. today she issused an offer for me to be her san nai. haha.. i wanna be her one and onli so rejected her offer. haha.. i got the draw towards such hao fang girls. e.g. limin, jeanette.. haha.. really love hanging out with this neh neh pok. haha dun be offended. this is how we communicate. or actually how she communicates. haha.. met fx at 1pm. he din do his hmwk on stong so can't help him much. then s'pore society lecture. new lecturer. my goodness. i gave up trying to take down notes cos he's like a machine gun like tat. dun wait for us. but topic was really interesting. religion, conversion within race etc. haha jus listen loh. finally went to a JS lecture after dunnoe how long. dr hendrik's style remains the same hai.. made me regret to come and give him a second chance. but topic was interesting lah jap convenience stores and vending machines. can u imagine coca cola alone has 1 mil vending machines in japan. crazy loh totally. social ill to be sellign beer and cigarettes through this channel. but well japanese are always so controversial.

after lecture was supposed to have promo meeting. fed up when i found out it was cancelled cos in the end onli like 3 of us, the usual ones, zy, hh and me. aren't the others anxious? now tat we are at the bottom aren't they the least worried. still dun wanna make time to meet to do smth.. aarrgghh anyway still decided to have a morale-boaster with hh and zy. in the end, we jus chilled at NYDC.. haha with its famous desserts of cos. haha.. was really fun, esp memorable was hh's question of what's the difference between men and financial bonds? haha men dun mature. love it man. such a feminist joke coming from hh haha.. i was the onli one who was laughing aloud. haha.. zy was like tiao. anyway was really fun to hang with these 2 steadfast project mates. planning for consumer behaviour another level 3 marketing module next sem. die die mus get them heee... lala..

Thursday
nearly forgot my SS tut. haha.. anyway was interesting as we were talking abt family this week. like whether sworn sisters should get a HDB flat? single father adopt a child? gay couples legalise marriage. haha.. sociology so anti-government and kinda pessimistic sometimes but still very very much enjoy the lessons. had lunch with zy seriously seeing him everyday this week. haha... asked him whether he's sick of me and i'm sick of him already haha.. lucky he said no otherwise i'm so gonna kill him haha.. hahah happy cos promo in-class assignment our grp got first haha.. ok lah at least let us look up a bit. i mean a bottom group can still win and come up with smth intersting to sell guitars in a 45 mins. zhen pei fu wo men zhi ji. had dinner at pasta mania with my promo group haha first outing like tat then we met the designer fren att george has. haha.. he has encouraging words for our concept/idea. so i was pretty happy.

Friday
saw him today. ok seriously think i PMS cos in the end i wasn't happy cos xiang tai duo le. haha..

JS project meeting a bit not focused but well in the end, we still split up the work. really love this JS project man. haha.. no complaints abt the ppl. with 3 marketing majors taking this project we better not screw it up man. haha dui lian. jap marketing and consumer behaviour. i have confidence we'll shine. heee.. utmost trust in my members.

met Yh for showdown with clarence. in the end, we won.. hahaha.. yeah got back the money he owes the club. i think seriously Yh handled it very well. calm and cool. i was also surprised by my own performance. i can keep quiet for so long while i so wanted to slap tat stupid boy. haha.. Yh was surprised by my "performance" too. haha he was like "how come skee haven talk?" haha think i still got a lot to learn. i guess Yh doesn't feel too good tat 19th comm turned out this way but i still think he's a good pressie. handle crisises quite well and gives great advice. haha i better learn learn man. finally when i finally spoke. kinda ji dong cos i a bit angry by wat clarence said. but well the most impt thing is tat we won.. hahah yeah..

went gai gai with fang ting for project october babies. we like tai tais go shopping like tat. very nice jus to hang with ting ting. she brought me ard taka and lucky plaza. the donuts are really really very very nice. this small donut shop near hagen diaz in taka food court. then watched the champion 9pm on channel 8. haha my first media corp show in dunnoe how long already. jas,ting so obsessed with it. i think olive too. haha..

Saturday
fav day among the week already.
accompanied kenneth, my cute cute diving fren. haha.. went to beach rd with him cos he wanted to buy backpack. haha.. long time haven talked to him already. very very nice to catch up and he'll tell me his stories in europe. very enjoyable time with him. jus very natural and comfy to hang out. haha.. he's a bit like chee kong. always going after their freedom and do the things they wan. bought a teva slippers. finally made up my mind to splurge a bit. haha.. okok.. mus put more money into my apple box to save up for europe.

went back to sungei buloh again for training. haha.. took car there. haha.. it's so much more convenient but tat long stretch of expressway is so damn dangerous cos it's utterly boring. hard time to keep awake. but the session was really great! first was guilding techniques. tat uncle who present quite nice lah. but another kenneth a bird expert was the highlight of my day. hahah. he showed us lotsa pictures of birds of sungei buloh. knowledge very impt so tat we have things to tell the ppl being guided. actually it's very nice tat SBWR(sungei buloh wetland reserve) actually trains their volunteers so tat we know wat we are doing. hahah the birds are really beautiful esp the kingfishers. but waders totally not my cup of tea. waders e.g diff species of sandpipers but they are all of the same colour. very hard to tell from the mud itself. mus be damn observant, thus i decided to stick with kingfishers cos they are colourful, easier to remember. we went out to look at the birds over at main bridge and the main observation hide (mossies feeding ground). hhahha i think kenneth (the speaker for the birdies session) is truly very very nice and i can seriously feel his passion for birds. we spotted a black-capped kingfisher, stock billed kingfisher and a copper throated sunbird despite thunder and dizzling rain and tons of waders which i din bother to go identify them. oh man i seriously need a binoculars of my own. hahah save this kinda money first. anyway mus tell ya abt the copper throated sunbird. forgot whether it was sunbird. haha.. anyway this bird is truly pretty. feathers metallic blue pattern very very nice then its throat catch some light it will glow like a yellow. hahaha very small bird but so damn pretty. and made lotsa sounds. oh ya can also identify the birdies by their call. so totally amazed when kenneth can jus identify the bird by their calls and also whether it's male or female. and bear in mind, calls not onli one type for one bird. Pei fu Pei fu. quite a good day despite the bad weather still could see lotsa birdies.. haha for the herons and the egrets once again look the same to me but well hee.. more easy to identify species from species. lala had a very good time there.
bird-watching challenging and fun. haha feel very happy when suddenly can say this and this bird there how many o clock. haha.. guess birds are seriously the highlight of the reserve.

then took grandmama, 4th aunt and mama to marine parade to eat. though the jap food at hawker centre kinda ex but was pretty tasty. can see they try to make our money worth it. haha..

sunday..
visited grace at mt alvernia. she jus gave birth to a baby boy. haha. the little boy was really really cute although i dunnoe who exactly he looks like. haha.. had a good time catching up with grace and rick(chaunfeur). and also caught up and hung with chuan fei for a while. haha. we went to buy the pressies for grace and we had lunch. haha.. amazing tat we are still quite close knitted despite having leave youth challenge together. CF quite sad may be going for surgery year end for his lungs. his profs at oxford gettign impatient already. hai.. haha.. wat a talent. another one who wans to study all his life. but he has the liao to do it lah. president scholar. haha degree at harvard then masters at oxford. haha.. ok lah but another wan to stay single i guess. haha.. anyway happy to see grace healthy and glowing already. rick and very happy father. haha..
