Lao le...

oh man damn weak these days. was dying on wednesday. played bball at 2pm til 4pm. had a splitting headache when i was back. cramps getting very bad recently. totally dying man. haha.. feel a bit bad left macs early.. haha.. i mean our sabo-ing hua wei session. feel bad part is that i dragged shuang to go home with me. hahaha.. going to miss hua wei man. hai.. closing shift.. no cute guy to talk to and take charge of things le. i really think it's a loss to our store. hai... caught up with shuang a bit. so long since i last saw her and really talked to her.

supposed to be going kayaking today. quite disappointed when zhu said she dun wanna go row boat le. hai.. true i'm also aching from bball. min size of expedition 3 ppl i think. so vin and i can't go le. hai.. wanted to find some activity but decided to stay home and rot. laraine hurrying me for the SATA report and having 2 project meetings over the weekend. next week 2 deadlines. this sem is crazy. hai.. nan de got time off from macs. hai.. nvm at least can pei popo this weekend.

CB is really getting very interesting. zhaoyong, hong hui was saying quite pressurizing. i do agree but it's very interactive and everybody's contributing constructive comments. hahaha.. think their minds really turn very fast. ahha... tuesday service marketing i think gone. hai.. the lecturer best. 12pm class. 10am e-mail says he's sick then make up next sat. hai.. i was on the bus to sch when ZY called. sucks. make my tuesday free day which is pointless cos i have to come to sch anyway. hai.. well jus keep my sats free then. haha... like wat i told dr lee when we went to visit him with HH and ZY. dr lee is really very nice. hope we can visit him often. haha.. hope i can work with both ZY and HH for CB too. cos like wat i said b4, we are a hot group. haha... last sem le mus do smth great and win a competition again. hahaha..

chinese film was alright. now then get to appreciate zhang yimou as a brilliant director. although i've seen raise the red lantern b4, the impression of it was rather vague le. mus watch it again soon. we were discussing his use of long shots, shots from above. the use of the colour red, why the master is always so blurry. who is gazing at who? why gong li (song lian in the movie) was dressed in a student uniform when she arrived at the household. so zhang yi mou was actually snubbing the chinese authorities. the movie was released one year after the tian an men incident. well date really counts huh. yeah.. he is also a good actor. was surprised. always good to know new things. haven catch shi mian mai fu, his latest work. although it's also from him, get the feeling it's quite commercialised, hollywoodised. okok eager and anticipating to see works of his. hee..

went to orchard library yesterday with mama. returned all our overdue books. haha.. can't wait for the bugis main national lib to be up. orchard lib i mus really say too small lah. although i still can spend 2 or 3 hours there. looked for books on europe. seems pretty exciting. lala.. can visit all the places in Da Vinci Code. and finally meet mona lisa. time to catch on on Time and newsweek. haha... i can always get so absorbed in all the political, economic and social happenings ard the world. a bit weird to see hu jintao rub noses with this NZ leader. he seems so out of place. anyway sad stories abt iraq always made me despise Bush more. picked up a few national geographics on the way. feel sad always after i see the pics and read them. saw the tsunami pics and video finally when shuang showed me. when will we ever appreciate nature? i guess when disasters like these happening. quite inspired by another book i saw LIFE! greatest adventures of all time. they have ppl like divers, pilots who flew across the globe, sailors who sailed across many seas, mountaineers who scaled mt everest and antartica. amazing to see the pictures and read abt the stories.

woke up with a runny nose. good choice to stay home. haha.. watched at least 10 episodes of hikaru today. quite sad. i watch until sai leaves him le. hope there's some miracle where sai can come back. sai is so cute. although i think he's very sentimental. watching too fast man. left 11 episodes to end. hai.. like wat chun says better not watch too fast later. sense of loss of wat to do next again. haha.. i also nearing the end of da vinci code. think i'll finish it soon. really a good book. opened a brand new perspective to how i view the church i mus say. but yes will bear in mind that at the end of the day, it is jus a fictional storybook. nua-ed quite a bit today. seems like my dinner date with loom and liv may be off le. hai... haven been spending time with old frens. yao jia you le. yao pi ye le jiu mei you ji hui le. maybe i'll jus walk ard my neighbourhood to take pictures to hone my photo skills. and yes i do recognise that i live in an awesome neightbourhood. haha.. inspired by all the shots in national geographic. there was this photo of a place i know i've been b4. forgot where le. but amazingly the photographer could include everything and shoot it at such an angle it was such a breathtaking shot. remind me of the times when i looked into chee kong's camera at kinabalu. the colours looks so bright and defined through the camera. but i still believe in the experience which is more important. remember the times i keep hurrying him that we have to go and he's still shooting. feel a tad guilty. haha.. okok hope he will bring back nice photos of datuk and angsi this weekend.

now playing corrinne may. mus say her music is really sincere. Singaporean amazingly. i feel a kinda honesty (crudely stark nakedness) when i listen to her. a good artist i would say. already hunting ard for her cd. placed an order le. haha.. mus thank terry for his good buy. hope he enjoys my sexy male voices, old and young in return. he actually called my nat king cole, lao sexy male voice. haha.. i know he will enjoy lisa ono cos he loved chill brazil.
