dun mess with me...
haha.. ooppss... hai....
losing patience with mama. reasons biological. she's over sensitive, over suspicious and over forgetful. but well i mus say her cooking has improved. haha.. okok mus borrow more cookbooks for her from the lib to occupy her time...
wat are platonic relationships? i guess after i got a few questions answered. felt better.
found neverland with sophy. great movie. looked a mess after tat. the film is about growing up and facing death, loss and believing.
very memorable line in the movie
Kate Winslet :"you brought believing into this family and u taught us by believing the problems will go away. and now it doesn't even matter anymore."
maybe not in exact words but some sort of the same meaning. but i guess it has to be the movie context that it would be meaningful. as usual, stunning performance from johnny depp and kate winslet. and also the boy boy who played peter is also damn good. kinda reminds me of the boy from sixth sense.
but somehow felt that neverland is also a form of escapism, which i dun really approve of. but well i shall take it in a more innocent sense. believing is the key to succeeding. tempted to get the cartoon verison of peter pan.
met em this morning. as usual give me a sensible lesson. helped me organise my thoughts too. jus needed my 2 "spiritual powerhouses" for this week.
watched ruan ling yu (The Actress/Centre Stage). another sad movie but it was really special. i think learning is look at movies with a critical eye is really wat i benefitted from the chinese film module man. maybe action is no longer enough for me. haha.. maggie cheung captivating performance which won her a berlin film fest best actress. stanley kwan is really another great director man. .
