went to Kent Ridge Ministerial Forum. guest speaker was none other than MM Lee. well see him so many times on TV but it's the first time i saw him in person and hear him speak. we were in 5m proximity of him. seriously his 20 mins speech was not impressive. his opening wasn't impressive at all, he din even greet the audience. gave me quite an arrogant feeling quite. will have to admit the Q&A session was better. more "sensitive" issues were brought up. some questions were quite crap but there was quite an outspoken and strong comment coming from a history major which MM was quite sacrastic too. understand that cos he was a little rude lah. think another swedish guy brought up a similar issue but got a better answer cos he was more polite. anyway overall feeling i get from MM Lee. witty and sharp despite his advanced age, very seasoned speaker to be on his toes. packaged his words very nicely. choice of words deliberate. hai.. like wat we already know we have no other viable alternative other than PAP so wat's this talk abt more political voice? PAP recruiting the young and bright. rem the 50 ppl listed on newspapers some time ago headhunted already. hai.. well like wat sherlene says, LKY so in control. i mean there's nothing he can do to spoil his legacy already i feel.
