it's the weekend

nolstagia cinema this week for chinese film. watched rouge aka Yan Zhi Kou. very nice movie. anita mui and leslie cheung. hai.. yes both sadly have left us. once again i would say great performance from them both. sad movie. oh man.. and damn nice song. add on to the nolstagia feel. one thing abt leslie, act what like wat. yan she me xiang she me. incidently in the end the movie is actually about Hong Kong going back to China. It's a search for a direction and past. presented today with sherlene. find that ya dr daisy is actually really good. although she wouldn't say that you are entirely wrong but she would be really encouraging. but like i told wei wei b4 she's damn demanding as a lecturer. but i think she interests us in watching older Hong Kong films. i guess if got the time, going to watch Days of being wild (leslie again), in the mood for love. no wonder i dun understand 2046 cos she said need to watch these 2 films to know wat 2046 is talking abt. haha.. man finally i dun feel stupid. wong kar wai. another brilliant directior in the league of chen kaige, zhang yimou.

started on farewell my concubine for our paper. oh man.. another masterpiece everybody should watch it. hai. the splendor of chinese opera, the passion of leslie, the historical backdrop changing landscape. cheng die yi (leslie) - "forced" into a feminine role but we can see that he is actually the one that is "chong yi er zhong" (one and onli) neverchanging, constant and the one actually with the "power". hai.. damn nice show. actually a feminist movie. great performance from gong li too man. hai the "Ba wang" in the end was the coward and the one who bow down to the times. a must-watch!!!

yesterday went to ikea to binge with my sophy dear. haha.. when she arrive, i "hey dear", then the table beside ppl look at us. after tat, i fed her and she fed me. had a good time. haha.. wat mus these ppl be thinking? haha.. so stereotype hoh. anyway we din give a damn lah. hee. jus trying to lead u into another topic which links. on thursday for CB, limin brought up a very interesting topic, gay marketing. haha.. damn interesting to know that actually some companies are kinda pro-gay. yes the pink dollar economy is growing and everybody wans to get a share of it. companies like ikea, abercromine and fitch, P&G etc etc are actually quite pro-gay cos they have quite many controversial advertisements. haha really good job to limin who went to find all the ads man. liying also did a good one on apple. really like the individual pressies man. hope mine will be good too. haha..

team double s, yee ky and chee ky (turned chee kong into chee ky. haha.. join the kee kee gang) is ready to challenge race 3!! haha we mus win man. organisers for the first and second races. yeah!!
