lalalala...
lots of things to update. first up. Team ODAC did good. haha.. although din join the adventure race. really did enjoy myself. hahaha.. like reporter chasing them with camera. shit too trigger happy really. but i think it's really fun. hrrmm. summary run..jump off bridge..swim..cycle..kayak..run..climb the G-Max ladder..climb..rockwall.. i think the jump off bridge quite scary. but they all did great. jus love the photos tat i snapped when they are not looking. people are really fun to shoot. haha.. now i understand why da ge's (my cousin) photos so many of his students in TKGS. and blown up one somemore. haha.. anyway Bingying, Yew Tian, Wan Seng and Ashley's team got 8th. very proud of them. but Terry + Julia + Tahanners also not bad. Fang Ting, Dessie Monie, Laiping and Xiang Xin's team also not too bad. think ting ting really roughed it out, happy and proud of her. Julia also. of cos Ashley mei hua shou. anyway spent some time with cherling. hee.. although i think most of the time we were talking nonsense cos we quite seh. but appreciate cher's company. haha.. got to network a bit (not my exact intention) at the youth park, met leon (kayaking fren), ah seng(my pri sch fren), leonard (JC classmate), carol's fren (oh no name suddenly slipped my mind) carol's guide's fren lah. ooppss ahh.. amnesia. ok rem it's ming lei. after like 1 hour. hahaha and got to know the rock wall in charge this palm fest SPU from NTU ODAC. quite cute reminds me of zhen yu(my pri sch fren). yr 3 EE. hahaha anyway was nice talking to him lah. haha.. well his comments gave me some food for thought. haha.. he was saying NTU ODAC growing to be like NTU sports club, losing a bit of the family feel. several interuptions but well still enjoyed talking to him. hee.. also talked to Wan Seng a bit. haha.. his Tahan trip quite ambitious but at least i think weather was good although they finished a 6 day trek in 4 days. haha.. hope to see their photos soon man. lala...
saturday was planning for europe. oh man headache. hai.. hahaha like cang said, let's hope we dun kill each other b4 the trip. haha... swam 30 with meiyu. haha. she's really damn fair. a bit legs soft after tat. oops.. hai.. elbow acting up again. hai.. hahha oopps excuse. ok will try running.
friday shiok day went shopping with ting ting. oops splurged again. hee... lala.. we skipped dinner for shopping then we went to the xu liu shan dessert shop opp planet hollywood in orchard. we ordered mango pudding and mango sago. oh man damn nice. although damn ex. NICE!!!! hee.. mus go back again. well we discussed the wong fei hong movie series this week for film. actually initially thought that it was jus a very nice action movie. but well din know tat xu ke meant to have so many meanings. main point was to reflect the feelings and attitudes that Hongkongers have abt their fate for handover or maybe the fact that the british and chinese actually held secret talks over HK's fate. reflecting the helplessness that the HK ppl are feeling over their fate. HK too different to be able to assimilate into the China system already lah. but well jet li still looks damn good inside lah also rosalina kwan (kwan zhi ling) very pretty. ok maybe for academic purposes, jus fastforward the fight scenes. haha.. oops okok i'm not doing justice to the films. anyway hai.. sad that like tsui hark (xu ke) no longer make films for HK. and yes he's in hollywood prob escaping the handover fate.
thursday another family dinner which is good. hee. we went to this very nice thai restaurant at summer view hotel, jus beside the new Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. i would say the outlook of the restaurant not fantastic and the ambience not too. but it was the food and the service which truly impressed me. one waiter and one supervisor serving at most 4 tables. but was really good. can feel that they are trying to see to your every need and the food is really decent. really made my day. haha.. hope that MY restaurant one day will make ppl feel this way. =)
projects picking up.. late nights are prob here. interesting report. Singaporeans are the 8th most nocturnal animals in the world. haha... work? entertainment? sch? debatable.
