oh man.. i can't believe it. hai.. in 12 hours time i'll be on a plane and in another 12 hours i'll be back. ya i can say i am tired. haha.. okok yes really enjoyed myself. mus thank my travelmates for bearing with my noise at night and being bossy in spain haha.. but well had a good time see many things i would say more than the china trip last year. althought tat was an intensive one too. europe is really a beautiful continent complete with a colourful culture and amazing ppl. i have seen the most majestic of the churches catholic churches tat is, the riches these french and british plundered from their colonial lands, how the rich holiday, how the fashion labels are so much better in europe seriously, so many colours and so many styles, how expensive the standard of living can be, how football unites everybody haha... in spain and how they can celebrate. alright had a good trip and look forward to the next time i can come back to london and watch all the musicals i wan like joseph and the technicolour dreamcoat, mamma mia, les miserables etc etc. anyway today had a great time and went to hyde park which was not worth the hype (i quote carol), cos nobody speaking at speakers' corner and the park yesterday was nicer and more picturesque. but portobello market was an eye opener. onli opened on saturdays it was really pasar malam on a great grand scale. a whole street like the whole of orchard rd selling vege, fruits, food, antiques, clothes, jewellery etc etc. lotsa pretty things but our pockets onli have this much. bought one pretty pretty brooch for mama cos it was really too pretty. yes yes it was a little steep but well it's my mama who made this trip possible so let me jus indulge her lah. haha. then came home and zhongwen cooked a delicious vegetarian dinner complete with tou pok popian, mushroom dumplings, fried bee hoon, pickled vege and u wun believe this home made plum sorbet with red beans. he's jus so need to open a restaurant loh. in his 2 years of staying here they were saying he never repeat his recipes.. *applause for him. then we had a long long time chatting abt schs, lee dynasty etc etc. they were jus so nice and we had a laughing good time. we ended dinner at 11.30pm. haha.. mus really thank them for giving us a roof over our heads and cooking and letting us use this and that. oh man thank god for singaporeans overseas. =) alright everybody i will officially be in service from 7th cos 6th is for dying on the bed in hope of getting rid jet lag. alright... adios, ciao, au revoir, tata. see ya in singapore.
