Past week
past week feeling a tad lost. busy still but kinda dunno wat i'm doing or where i'm headed any more. well got down to write my resume already. trying to improve it b4 i send. looked through jobdb and jobstreet. not many interesting jobs. think i'll jus mail the companies i like. mama is a tad concerned, asking me to find job le. grandmama finding air tix to go china le. dunno whether i shld go with her. haha... tat's another month gone or more. ooppss maybe i can't afford tat le. and carol says i'll be damn not fillial.
today had dinner with TU and bb's dad was treating his guest at grand hyatt then we jus happily joined. champagne, white wine, crab, lobster, giant oysters, mussels etc etc as starters, mixed grill as main course and the heavenly dessert. the meal for 10 ppl came up to S$1600!! ooppss.. but we are really happy. haha.. money buy happiness.. maybe.. but had a great time with the TU. BB going back to canada soon. so yeah after she comes back from china, better quality time with her. baked with siang and vin. while baking, watched bridget jones2 quite funny. and the rebecca inside damn pretty lah too bad a les. hai.. will i turn les one day? jus a thought nvm.
helping mama these days but like half half also then i go out or watever. feel a little irresponsible at times. tues night played tennis with carol. though we keep picking balls and our max volley was like 9, we were quite happy tat we are working out, shuttle run to pick balls and perspiring. haha... talked abt her job, wat job i shld be looking for. i think i shld rem to look for a job tat makes me use my brain instead of my hands. tat's why carol said. and smth tat will help me get closer to wat industry i wan next time. so i guess it will be marketing if my final destination is advertising. we shall see. maybe i shall start as a lowly copy writer. haha which is an interesting low entry level job. we shall see...
monday chilled out with cher after she helped out a bit at mama's shop haha... cos i was challenging my mama's new employee from malaysia. haha.. thanx to cher i onli lost 15-17 despite the fact i started working at 2pm and he prob started like 9am plus. haha.. ok i had help. unfair. anyway we went to check out the new national lib central lending. the lending section onli one floor wah lau but the reference was like 6-7 storeys of rare books etc etc. and still got 3 storeys of drama centre. quite interesting and all books at the lending section are NEW!! haha.. borrowed 3 of gu long's series and 1 economist for bedtime stories. haha then i entered this harry potter book contest cos i refused to spend 40 bucks on tat overpriced book. they have nice couches all over to nua. good place to nua man. haha.. then stayed til ard 8.45pm when lib going to close then we retire to eat our dinner at HAN's. very nice place with ambience jus tat the staff a bit old for my liking and for such a hip place but well considering tat it's a family restaurant, maybe acceptable. we had a set dinner each and shared a banana split. the potato salad looks damn good but we refuse to pay $6.50 for it so have to go without it. but looks damn damn good loh. quite a shiok night. then went to paya lebar villa to pick up watermelon and some stuff left over. picked up the keys from meiyu and jus grabbed meiyu in the car too. haha.. then we went to water the plants then return her home and cher. haha.. like a date like tat so cute. haha.. oopps..
retreat.. haha.. shall leave it for next time. my brain is almost beep, beep, beep, beep______, beep_______________, beep____________________________________________
