CNY
seems like a long time since i updated... haha.. anyway worked 3 out of 4 holidays. and it's all opening shift. can't really sleep well with the pressure of must wake up on time, cannot laze on the bed. finally closing today so i lazed til the sun's almost halfway done through its journey in the sky. shiok! dead tired these days. pampering beanie boy too much these days.
CNY reunion dinner was good. haha ate the $108 abalone in our steamboat (no meatballs though. but abalone happy enough le). happy to wear the new clothes i bought like 2 weeks ago with ft. haha... and feedback was really positive haha.. yeah i like my green floral pong pong skirt despite the fact it's darn hot underneath. yeah CNY the usual, go to the temple near UOB plaza to pray and hope for good fortune this year, lunch at grandma's a mixture of steamboat (MEATBALLS!!) and vegetarian fare (oops like very contrasting), my mama's godma's place, my granduncle's place at river valley and my step siblings coming to visit with their kids. went to terry's to eat dinner (yes steamboat again but no meatballs this time) but still good his mama's cooking is really good. then visited grandma with all my aunts at my small aunt's place for some mahjong with him. along the way, my sis and i demolished tons of goodies and drank cartons of soft drinks. even from one house to another my sis din stop eating! help! i think it's a disorder. haha....
perfect holiday for some but terrible for me cos i've accumulating sleep debt with sheepie with all the opening shifts and watching good movies like coyota ugly on tv.
seeing beanie on alternate days. been to bedok jetty and pierce these few days. nice esp when we ta pao a choco banana cake. oops. ya i can't stop eating. shit!!
people i beg u to come to my place. i have 2 mths worth of goodies for u to demolish. i need help! i even have a private collection which i dun bring out when guests come.. oops. now u know. dun worry it'll be gone b4 u come visit. hahaha *evil laugh...
some back dated entries. had lunch with loom at subway on 23rd b4 closing. 24th closing. 25th had lunch with beanie then a great pizza and ice cream gathering with carol, eileen, jas, liv!! love meeting up with old frens. we dun need much to catch up. jus eating ice cream at taka civic plaza. 26th had lunch with grace and chuan fei bakezin! haha the desserts was jus heavenly. can i jus buy the whole chain? someday... then 27th was the merchant court dinner with sophy, ck, des, bear, jas, zhu, ft, terry, carol. then chinatown. oh man darn crowded and wat a weird product mix they were selling. we saw this indian wearing a bumble balloon god of fortune hat. so funny... cos it's jus so mismatched.
so tat makes up my week... saw tat fish and co is hiring. tat time i jus missed the period where they were looking for management trainees. hai.. not tat i'm doubting my job but i guess i'm tired. my job is still challenging. hai... kinda sad tat ray told me he's on the lookout for a job le. i dunno whether he's serious on leaving. although i think he's doing a not bad job so far. makes my whole staying meaningless somehow. okok... i'll at least stay a year. and save up some $$$. be determined skee!!!
