Hectic Week

finally i'm off tmr. forgive me for not blogging. worked like 2 16-hour days this week. Tim Fenton's visit on 9th. and preparation for his visit took up much of the work this week. hhmm.. who's tim fenton? haha i guess he's the biggest boss tat ever travelled to our store ba. Asia Pacific President of McDs i guess. and well got notice on tues that i'm gonna change shift with Fara the next day so that ray and i will be there when the boss comes. well i guess more or less fara will be hurt ba. but well given the black face that she gave on tues from morning b4 the decision was made may justify the decision slightly i guess. kinda excited to be given this chance but well hai.. jus made politics in the team so obvious. tues was management meeting cum preparation day. yes yes even the crew can tell the management team is not united. had some rub-offs with huini and fara this week. i guess both of them may have taken matters to heart and given now tat i have ray and vincent's attention most of the time, i guess it's onli time tat both of them jus hate me. hai... sometimes i jus can't stand it when they still can be so self-righteous when they are obviously in the wrong. i mean if i commit the same mistake, let me know and i'll be responsible and learn from the mistake lah. dun find all kinds of excuses to cover up lah. i'm a straight forward person who will jus shoot off sometimes but i dun hold grudges. i'll be alright after it loh. hai... maybe we seriously lack tat level of understanding ba. was pretty upset tat night. seems like it's jus me and ray trying to get things moving and making things happen. on top of tat, jus heard tat a manager within the patch at bugis junction is leaving and she cited lack of teamwork as the reason for resignation. oh man... will i be like tat one day? morale was at an all-time low, as ray and i stayed late to prepare the store for the visit next day.

but well luckily the visit went quite well. for me, it's pretty good le, considering i was running the shift haha.. all was well until our cheeseburger debt went quite high and customers were waiting impatiently and vincent came in to mess things up. well he got me quite kan cheong and i guess everything was quite luan at tat moment. and i shld have jus asked kamariah to take charge, instead of me stepping in. hai.. but well tim fenton's order over at the counter was quite fine. i'm pretty sure the fries were hot and fresh. yeah! but he waited for quite a while for the beef fantastic, as it jus happened to be down. all my bosses were down with tim. kenneth, jeffrey, peter rowell. haha so ya it's a damn important visit. i was pretty sure lee see (vincent's god daughter) impressed them with her lobby dessert selling and sold them mc cafe drinks instead. they din step inside the kitchen which was an extremely good thing, not tat we are not prepared. haha... gloating but they went to Marina Centre's. they had it worse than us. haha...oops.

after tim's visit, while i struggled to do some homework for my pre class session the next day, another taiwanese vistor came to see our mc cafe. entertained her a while cos ray went off le. quite fun actually. she's a biz development manager for taiwan McD. apparently i was quite "re qing" as she said and she gave me a small token as appreciation. a small i'm lovin it hp accessory thing. although it isn't much, it jus made my day. she stayed til quite late ard 10.30pm and i hanged til then. and i was still not ready for the preclass session. i'm supposed to attend class at KAP this month end. ahh.. i'm so going to die at the equipment part. learnt zitch abt it as of now. but seriously exhausted le so hai.. decided to call it a day and struggle more the next day b4 the pre class. ended up nua-ing til the pre class session. when will i stop my last min thing? ooopps. pre class went quite well but nobody's familiar there so hai.. another force myself to make frens session. but class at KAP is always fun. but pressure too.

enough abt work. had a good visiting day on sunday. really enjoyed it, although i was slightly irritated by beanie boy tat day. hopped to sophy's, meiyu's and vin's places after they met up at mine. the bartog we played at meiyu's was really damn memorable. crazy wholesome fun. it's some time b4 we had tat le. jus made me miss my trekking days when we will jus pass time doing all these silly stuff. and made me miss my this grp of ODAC frens. vin's mama very nice to cook us dinner. was good and of cos the $45 sakae sushi yu sheng was damn good too. ended up playing bridge with sophy, jas and meiyu after dinner. although we were all brain dead le, but we had a good time. guess the storm at seng kang jus forced us to play more bridge, as we had no means to leave his house. haha... shared a cab with sophy and on the way dropped meiyu. we even continue playing at the void deck while waiting for cab. was also damn amazing how 5 girls can squeeze at the back of vin's car. poor vin's suspensions. poor kenny boy looked so stressed when pillion-ing bings. keep laughing at his expression when he's riding. oops. =) i'm mean.

ok... think tat's all for now folk. dying of watery eyes and brain cells deficiency le update again soon. =)
