hey hey hey....
oops sorry *blows off dust off bloggie. wonders who still reads my bloggie when i dun update so ever often. hee... back from chiangmai, slogged through an absolutely busy busy busy weekend.
chiangmai.
HOT.. no it's not cooling at all... it's their low peak season and i know why. starting of the raining season but still it's stuffy and hot. beanie got heat rash. oops.. hee.. took a package from our hostel. 3D2N trek with elephant riding and bamboo rafting. took a day trip to chiangrai and golden triangle. ok we are too lazy to read up and research otherwise we could have gone to better places and do more constructive things. but well decided to pamper ourselves and NOT plan anything. so well spend our extra 2 days absolutely nua-ing, jus walking ard town, rotting and watching movie after movie in a *gasp shopping mall. well at least we are in the air con half the day. spare me the sun pretty please... met some interesting ppl. we trekked with all ang mos man. of cos among them there's this british guy tat both beanie and i very taken with. very cute. haha.. oops. his fren's also funny in his own way. jus so funny listening to them. the americans, british.. americans as usual arrogant... but the other 2 MBAs from michigan whom we met quite alright. although one girl quite... hrmm.. well let's jus say she's not used to rainforest trekking lah. think the trekking thing very very different for them. and for half of them they are on their round.the.world trip. next stop for 2 of them NZ.. and other 2 laos... ahh.. i wanna go too!! we dun really blend in but well we are happy half in and half out lah. think we are known as the foodies cos we are the only ones who brought tons of candies and snacks. haha.. they are appreciative lah. hee... met 2 singaporeans on the day trip to chiangmai. haha.. yes nice and comfortable to talk to them. 2 ladies.. hrmm.. auntie tier one. but they are quite nice. but i pei fu their cheong shopping attitude. haha... look at them go.. we jus shake head man.. overall not a bad trip. quality time spent with beanie, cleared almost all my sleep debt but i have resigned to fate that no matter how much more i sleep, my dark circles will remain as they are. eye bags too. they can ONLY worsen, i realise. haha... oops... oh ya and i haven even start talking abt the S$1 kway teow soup they sell beside the roads. damn nice and damn cheap... was our life saver the night the onli night tat it rained there. of cos there's this boy who was selling it who looked so cute in his shower cap and apron... and this S$0.80 noodles with so much liao, it's even more value than the jia liao lo mee at beach road. the food there's jus... i love!! love the curry the guide cooked on the trek too. like the sweet curry.. dun ask me why. maybe i'm jus too hungry. haha... food!!! glorious food!!!
came back and did monthend closing with ray. well learnt lotsa of things as he taught me other stuff that vincent wans to see and ways to explain why the numbers dun look good. well i counted every single piece mcchicken meat and 6pc nuggets box til quite late cos lotsa goods and huini never help me count those that she could.. hai... at least ray understands why i'm slow cos pls show some sympathy to this person who has to climb in between french fries cases and mc wings to count every single wing/meat/cake/muffin in the blistering cold in the bloody freezer. haha but somehow i feel tat it's quite a zen thing to do. jus count dun think in extreme conditions. haha... hey i can count in -19 degree celsius within 30 mins. reached home onli 10.30am the next day after seeing vincent, visited xiaoping and desline at bugis junction.
book fair / pc show weekend. worked 3 days out of this busy busy 4 days. dying le... wee teng still on mc today. have to thank mr ray for staying til store close to help me. he worked like 17 hours... haha.. but our off day tmr!! yeah yeah... well kinda screwed up the large order on sat. yes yes i better learn from it. enough of ray's nagging. somehow sometimes i jus refuse to learn. aarggh.. u mus do better next time skee... fri's large order was alright but i missed out one chix fantastic and caused fara to be scolded by vincent. oops. apologetic for tat but well... she was the one who checked so hai.. guess ray's right abt fara being very defensive...
ok beanie day tmr. hee... 8 mths le. time flies man really. haha... maybe we are getting to the stage of used to each other. jus hope i dun take him for granted...
quite anti social these days but i'm busy too lah. sophy's away and cher's in camp. sobz... lucky got meiyu.. haha.. we had breakfast and went shopping and eating!! she's such a comfort pal and i think she's jus so nice to teng. haha.. okok... time to hit the bed... brain getting mushy le.. can't think. night night world... pls drag the anti social me out..
